We started Hempies with one simple question:

Why isn’t everyone wearing hemp?

When our founder Nick first discovered hemp fabric, it felt like a no-brainer. Hemp is naturally durable, breathable, antibacterial and ridiculously comfortable once worn in. It uses less water than many traditional fabrics and is one of the most sustainable natural fibres on the planet.

Yet somehow, hemp had been overlooked, misunderstood and unfairly stereotyped for years.

So instead of waiting for someone else to change that, we decided to help make hemp mainstream ourselves.

Born in Australia and inspired by the outdoors, Hempies was created for people who want clothing that feels good, lasts well and treads a little lighter on the planet.
